Cave Team

Barb started with Cave & Associates, Ltd. in 1995 at the prodding of her husband Craig.  She has a hand in the entire operation, in and outside Cave’s office, handling the majority of the leasing activity for the company, as well as tenant representation for clients looking for space in other commercial properties.  Barb also serves as office manager, overseeing accounting, budgeting, tenant relations and day-to-day office operations, working side-by-side with Craig.  Barb is a proud soccer, baseball and hockey mom and enjoys reading, camping, fishing and entertaining family and friends.

Craig has been with Cave & Associates, Ltd. since 1993, longer than any other employee.  He oversees the entire operation including day-to-day functions, leasing, drawing and pricing floor plans and build-outs, as well as planning and budgeting for all major repairs and improvements.  Craig and his wife, Barb, have three young children who are all involved in sports and other activities.  Craig is an avid outdoorsman who loves to fish, hunt and camp.  He plays hockey on a men’s league and coaches some of his childrens’ multiple sports activities.

Sam’s transition into commercial real estate came in the early ‘70s. Shortly after, he began constructing office buildings.  Once the first buildings were built and tenant ready, Sam managed them with his wife, Diane.  With a growing client base built on Sam’s highly personalized approach to client and property care, he began to add to his team. Personalized care and appreciation are Sam’s credo.  As Sam would say, “We’ll take care of you.  We do what we say we’ll do. You can trust us.” Sam enjoys spending time with his 2 children and 5 grandchildren.  Sam and Diane are also very involved with "Friends of the Orphans" / "Our Little Brothers and Sisters" (NPH), an orphanage near Antigua.  For more information about Sam and Diane's endeavors, click here.

Don has been a friend of Cave & Associates, Ltd. for many years and we are happy that he decided to join us, part time, after retiring from 42 years in the HVAC business.  Don's expertise in the heating and cooling industry is an invaluable resource that is used on a constant basis in our buildings.  He is often found peering in a ceiling, checking our equipment and repairing our systems as needed.  Don and his wife, Jan, enjoy helping with their 2 new grand babies, spending time at their cabin up north and traveling around to see family and friends.

Bob started out as a part-time employee in 2002 and quickly became a full-timer.  He works in the Roseville area at Cave’s multiple locations; handling service requests, taking care of grounds, building and parking lot maintenance.  Bob and his wife live in St. Paul with their eight cats, one new dog, and two gerbils.  He enjoys collecting die-cast model cars, boating and fishing, movies and the theater.

Julina joined the Cave & Associates, Ltd. team in March of 2007, and provides administrative support to everyone in the office.  She can be found at the front desk and on the phone providing reliable and responsive back-up. Julina is also involved in handling reports, organizing information for the office and tenants, udating the web site, and applying her skills at other highly detailed projects.  Julina, her husband and two daughters recently moved to Scandia, where they are remodleing their new home.  An avid horsewoman, Julina owns four horses and also enjoys fishing, hiking, crafts and spending time with her family.

Larry has been a good friend of Cave & Associates, Ltd. for 30 years, but just became a part-time employee this year after retiring from his full-time job.  Larry works on remodeling projects and helps out with maintenance requests.  His thorough snow removal made life easier for Cave properties’ tenants this winter.  Larry and his wife have a grown son and live in Vadnais Heights.  He loves golfing, hunting and fishing, traveling and semi-retirement.

Matt started out as a seasonal employee in 1997 and became facilities manager in 2000, overseeing the maintenance staff and sub-contractors.  Like many Cave employees, Matt wears multiple hats.  He is also a licensed real estate agent who might have helped you lease your space.  Matt is also a volunteer fire fighter for his home town, where he, his wife, two-year old daughter and newborn son live.  He spends his free time with his family and loves to hunt, fish and go camping. 

Rachel joined Cave & Associates, Ltd. in June 2004, and is appreciated by clients and employees for her personable and helpful manner.  Rachel handles the front desk and phones, tenant relations, company documents, the day-to-day office functions, bookkeeping, tenant invoicing, and administrative duties.  If you need to check on your account or have a question, Rachel will help you get the answer you need.  Rachel, her husband, young daughter and their three dogs reside in Blaine. They all enjoy family time at their cabin up North.  Rachel spends her free time reading, cooking, entertaining, acting in community theater and playing the piano. 

Craig joined Cave & Associates, Ltd. in June 2004 and works primarily in the company’s north metro buildings.  He handles service requests, takes care of the day-to-day maintenance in the Brooklyn Center and Fridley locations, and helps with construction projects. Craig and his wife reside in Coon Rapids with their daughter and new grandson.  He enjoys collecting rare Monopoly games as well as gardening, grilling and antique hunting.

Greg started with Cave & Associates, Ltd. in the fall of 2006 and is a member of the remodeling team and Cave Crew.  He spends his time on Cave properties’ projects and off site as well.  Greg and his wife have two children and make their home in Centerville.  He enjoys hunting, camping, boating and fishing, as well as window-shopping at Gander Mountain, where he fantasizes over the latest products.
